High Protein Creamy Seafood Spaghetti




Ingredients

  • seafood pack (prawns, mussels, squid)

  • 80g brown spaghetti

  • 1/2 cup quark

  • 1/4 cup grated halloumi

  • 1/2 onion

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 1 dollop vegan butter

  • 1 cup wilted (or steamed) spinach leaves 


Makes: 1 portion

Takes: 30 minutes

466 calories. 55.6g protein. 79g carbs. 19g fat.


Method

  1. Add your pasta to some boiling water and leave on medium to low heat.

  2. Add butter and your crushed garlic to a large frying pan. Add in the onion and fry for 5-10 minutes. 

  3. Add in your quark, 1/2 of your grated halloumi or cheese of choice and two tablespoons of pasta water. Now mix, and fry for 5 minutes. 

  4. Now, add you seafood mix to the pan and mix. Cook on low fr a few minutes. 

  5. Once your pasta is cooked, add it to your main frying pan and coat it in the creamy onion sauce. Now, add in your spinach, some salt and pepper and once combined, remove from the heat, plate up and serve with your grated leftover halloumi.
